Built in Public
I believe that transparency builds trust. That's why every revenue number, every milestone, and every setback is public. You can see Mono's live financial data — verified directly by Stripe — at trackmrr.co/startups/mono. No smoke, no mirrors.
I also share daily findings on LinkedIn, from product decisions to things that didn't work. If you're curious about what it actually looks like to build a software product alone in 2025, follow along.
Profitable. On Purpose.
Mono is profitable. That's not a flex — it's a promise. A profitable product doesn't need a lifeline from investors to survive next month. The startups most likely to disappear overnight are the ones burning millions of dollars in VC money while still figuring out how to make a single dollar. Mono isn't that.
When you pay for Mono, you're not funding runway. You're using a product that already works and already pays for itself.
No Meetings. Ever.
I know this might sound unusual, but I don't do meetings. No virtual coffees, no discovery calls, no networking sessions. It's not that I don't appreciate the people who reach out — it's that I have to be ruthlessly protective of my time and energy.
My calendar is empty by design. That emptiness is what lets me say yes to the right problem at the right moment, and actually build things instead of talking about building things.
Built Properly. Not Vibe-Coded.
I'm not a marketer who learned to prompt. I spent years working as a software engineer and UX designer before building Mono. I know how software is supposed to be built, and I know what "good enough" actually looks like — and where it isn't acceptable.
Mono is architected with care. Your data is handled responsibly. The UX decisions are intentional. This is craftsmanship, not a side project duct-taped together.
As European as It Gets
The big AI model providers are American. That's just a fact. But whenever a strong European model exists, it appears on Mono — fast.
Beyond that: all Mono infrastructure runs in Germany. Your data is stored in Germany. The app is hosted in Germany. Mono is built in Switzerland. It doesn't get more European than this, without giving up access to the best AI models in the world.
If privacy, data sovereignty, and European digital independence matter to you, Mono is built with that in mind.
Follow the journey. The finances are public. The product is real. And it's not going anywhere.
