Mono course

Get to know every Mono feature and put it into practice. Learn to ask better questions, choose the right tools, and get better results from the world’s best AI models.

Lessons

  1. Overview

The sidebar organizes your chats and projects. The main area shows your conversation, with the chat box and its controls below.

  2. Chat

Describe your goal in the chat, add the context Mono needs, and refine the result with follow-up questions. Start a new chat when you change topics.

  3. Voice mode

Voice mode lets you speak and hear replies in a live conversation. Unlike dictation, it does not just fill the chat box. It must be enabled for your account.

  4. Multi-Model Research

Research searches the web, analyzes sources with several models, and combines the findings into a report. It can take several minutes.

  5. Models

Auto-selection uses the default model for the task. A manual choice in a chat or a project default can change which model answers.

  6. Projects

A project keeps related chats, files, and instructions together. Sharing a project gives others access; workspace membership alone does not.

  7. Skills

A skill saves instructions for a recurring task or style. It steers responses without connecting external accounts. One skill can be selected at a time.

  8. Plugins

Plugins connect Mono to data and tools in other services. Connecting an account and selecting it for a chat are separate steps; permissions determine the available actions.

  9. Search

Sidebar search finds saved chats by words in their titles or messages. Web research is covered in the Multi-Model Research lesson.

  10. Author Mode

Author Mode is an editable document in Mono. Type directly or request AI changes. In a dedicated writing chat, every request addresses the document.

  11. Anonymization

Anonymization replaces matching text before model requests and restores recognized terms in the displayed answer. Mono retains the mapping; the replacement is reversible.

  12. Memory

Memory supplies relevant facts across chats and models, rather than a complete conversation archive. Automatic remembering is currently the default until you choose otherwise.

  13. Interface

Interface settings control appearance and interaction. Your interface language does not restrict the language of your prompts; some preferences apply only to this device.

  14. Account

Account settings contain your identity, plan, and data options. For this lesson, locate the controls without making an unnecessary change.

  15. Workspace

A workspace manages team access and shared rules. Each member uses their own account. You can skip this lesson if you use Mono alone.

  16. Invite friends

Your invitation link lets friends discover Mono through you. Rewards depend on a qualifying subscription and the current conditions, rather than a visit or registration alone.
